HAWKEDON PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The Parish Council Elections take place on 2 May 2019. Three of our six Parish Councillors – Jonathan Cawston, Tim Cawston and Sean O’Connell – will be standing for re-election. Sadly we are losing the remaining three of our Parish Councillors – Janine Bedford, Doreen Reeve and Judy Wilson (Chairman) will not be standing for re-election.

If you would like to become a Parish Councillor we would like to hear from you! First of all check that you are eligible to become a councillor at www.electoralcommission.org.uk and click on the Standing for election tab. When you have checked you are eligible, please email Rachel Durrant, Parish Clerk at redbkf@hotmail.com.

Thank you to Janine, Doreen and Judy for their sterling service to the Parish Council over many years (Janine as many as 16!); their valuable contributions, help and support will be very much missed. An additional thank you to Judy who has chaired the PC meetings for the past 12 years in addition to her usual Councillor duties.
