A collection container for our village
defibrillator has been placed on the bar at the Queens Head, along
with a small poster showing collections to date and the target to be
achieved. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our generosity,
to demonstrate human kindness and thought for others, and to show
that we really do care about our friends, neighbours, local villages
and visitors from far and wide. This is just a small way of doing
just that, so please spread the word. Every little helps!
Many thanks to Scott and Juliette for their
support in this, and also to those that have contributed. In just
five weeks after placement, the sum of £157.97 has been raised. The
target is £1600.00, and other fundraising events are planned –
please do contribute if you can as the sooner we can raise the funds
the sooner we all benefit. If nothing else, it is another good
reason to visit our fabulous pub!
