Lots of exciting new things will be happening at this year's fete.
Possibly top of the bill will be the BBQ featuring, amongst other things, the 'Hawk Burger' - a feast in itself. Others may consider the golf game, the human fruit machine (got to be seen to be believed), the treasure hunt, or the human juke box to be the big attraction.
Put them all together, along with all the other stuff you might expect, in the wonderful setting of Hawkedon Hall, and we know we are in for a great day. As an extra bonus, there will be a competition for the best photo taken at the fete, and the winning photo will be published as the heading photo on this blog. Do come along! - we look forward to seeing you there.
CAN
YOU HELP?
Contributions
and donations would be warmly welcomed and very much appreciated for
the stalls which will include local produce, books & bric-a-brac,
a bottle bola and other fun & games for all ages!
Please
arrange to deliver appropriate items (particularly freshly made cakes
and produce) to Hawkedon Village Hall on the afternoon of Saturday
2nd June or contact Paul Williamson.
Please
tell all your friends and family members to come along for what will
be a wonderful and very traditional English occasion!
