Poplar Tree Felling

 To whom it may concern:

I just wanted to let you know that we’re felling about 30 of the poplar trees near the Thurston End ford next week. As you may be aware, a few of the trees have come down recently, and we’ve been told by a tree surgeon that it would be advisable to fell the ones closest to the road as soon as possible because of the up coming nesting season.

We’ve been told that there won’t be any need to close the road.
