PARISH COUNCIL STUFF

Minutes from the most recent Parish Council AGM and Ordinary Meeting have been stuck on the Parish Council page.  Click on the tab above to have a look, although you will struggle to find anything so exciting that it will keep you awake at night.  If you have been following the 'Quiet Lane' designation for the road between Thurston End and Stansfield you will see an update which may be of interest - there has been some debate over the benefit of littering the countryside with road signs to designate a lane that is already quiet as a quiet lane.

Your council tax bill will have a small amount at the bottom which is the annual budget for the Parish Council - this sum is set by the Parish Council.  If is it not the lowest in Suffolk, it must be one of the lowest.  To see how the Parish Council manage with such a tiny budget click on the link below to the Annual Governance and Accountability Report:

Don't worry - this document is also highly unlikely to disturb your sleep.
