Hawkedon Village Hall 100 Club

Many thanks to all who attended the Tea Party in the Village Hall. Lots of fabulous sandwiches, cakes, buns and scones were on offer – the sugar rush seemed to put everyone in a jolly mood! A special thanks must go to those who created such wonderful delicacies – all those hours watching ‘Bake-Off’ have clearly been worthwhile. And it never ceases to amaze how the hall is both set up beforehand and then cleared away in such an apparently effortless manner thanks to all those who seem to be eager to help. We are truly blessed to have such a willing population.

Thank you also to all of those who bought their numbers for the Village Hall 100 Club. This is an important source of funding for the Village Hall so it can be kept in good condition. The hall is no longer brand new, so inevitably the maintenance costs are prone to increase. The draw for the for the big prizes will be done at the Christmas Coffee Morning (8^th December) along with the October and November draws.
