You might have noticed there is now a weather vane on the village hall. Last year money was donated by Mr John Ward whose grandfather had lived in Hawkedon but had been killed in World War 1. Having put a bench outside the church and planted daffodils bulbs last year, the remainder of the funds have now been used to purchase the weather vane. Many thanks to those who helped erect the weather vane, particularly Chris Gray who did all the work at the top of the ladder.

VILLAGE HALL WEATHER VANE
