PLANNED ROAD CLOSURES TO THURSTON END AND OTHER LESS IMPORTANT PLACES

From our local council:

"Road closure to carry out pre surface dressing road repairs along U7329 Thurston End, Hawkedon, U7331 Fenstead End and U7331 Glemsford Road, Boxted and U7331 Fern Hill, Glemsford (from Glemsford Road to Braggons Hill). The works are programmed to take place between 6 and 10 March 2023. The roads will be closed each day to ensure that we can carry out our works safely.

For the duration of the road closure, traffic will be diverted via Hall Lane, Thurston Lane, Plough Hill, Hawkedon Road, Road from C676 to C675 and C677, Road South East from C681, Lower Street, Somerton Road, B1066, Tittle Hall Lane, New Road, Braggons Hill, Boxted, Braggons Hill, Glemsford, Fern Hill and vice versa."
