PEOPLE ON WHEELS

Sadly for the last 2 months we have not been able to operate People of Wheels due to covid19. However by the end of August West Suffolk Hospital and GPs may be arranging visits. So we are starting again and can offer lifts from 1st September if you have no transport. If you have any signs of the virus you must call 111 and, if necessary, they will arrange transport. We cannot put our volunteer drivers at risk. As before, if you live in Hawkedon you can just call John Kendall on 326 at least 48 hours before you need the lift. There is no charge but you can give the driver a small contribution which is used to cover some petrol costs.
