A wild creature is making a well
worn path across the green. It enters the green through the hedge
from Simpson's Field, crosses the road and grass pathway
to the churchyard, skulks along the church wall and on towards the bottom of Spring
Cottage garden. From faint dusk viewings, it is thought it could be
either a muntjac or badger. To date, there have been around half a dozen confirmed sightings, and numerous unconfirmed sightings - the tally is ever rising. However, we cannot yet rule out that it may
be 'black shuck', the ghostly black dog said to roam East Anglia. If it is black shuck, then the picture above will help you identify him. Any
confirmation as to the nature of the beast would be much appreciated.
