A defibrillator could save your life, or it could help you save
your neighbour's life. We are planning to buy a fully automatic and portable machine to be installed on the side of the Village Hall, accessible to all who live in and visit Hawkedon. We are most grateful for the ongoing collection at the Queen's Head. In addition to this a locality grant has been secured, and discussions with both the Parish Council and Village Hall trustees are planned to secure funding for the initial purchase and ongoing costs of the defibrillator - but more is needed.
A RACE NIGHT will be held in the Village
Hall on Saturday 20th July in order to raise more funds.
