DIANA
ROSE
Diana
Mary Campbell Rose of Ford Cottage, Hawkedon, died on 2 February 2017
and, following a cremation in London on 14 February, was fondly
remembered at a service of thanksgiving at St Mary’s Church,
Hawkedon the next day.
Her
daughter Rebecca paid the following tribute:
‘Mum
was the embodiment of joie de vivre. Everything she did, she did
entirely wholeheartedly, with verve and thought and love, whether it
was being a wonderful mother to Ali and me, a fun-loving granny to
Audrey and Louis, or an executive coach to various cantankerous
businessmen. She was a wildly intelligent, free-spirited, generous
and immensely thoughtful person. Everyone has a story about how mum
has helped them through a difficult time in their lives - it's hard
to know how she made time for so many people, while still being there
for her family at every turn. We miss her hearty laugh, her
brilliant take on everything and everyone, her warmth and her
wiseness, her integrity and honesty, her comforting physical presence
and the goodness of her soul. It's hard to imagine this world
without her.’ She is missed by all.
